Why VR training outperforms the classroom and the screen

Classroom sessions and safety videos have their place, but they ask people to remember what they have been told rather than practise what they need to do. Virtual reality closes that gap. By putting trainees inside a realistic scenario and letting them make decisions — and mistakes — in complete safety, VR turns passive learning into genuine muscle memory.

We build photoreal digital twins of your plant, factory or laboratory, capturing the detail that matters and recreating it with the same craft we have brought to work for Airbus, Network Rail and BAE Systems. An AI avatar that knows your procedures inside out

One of the biggest barriers to learning is the fear of looking foolish. People hold back the "daft" question in front of a trainer or their peers, and gaps in understanding go unspoken — until they matter. Our AI avatars remove that fear entirely.

We train an avatar on your standard operating procedures, and only yours, then pair it with a large language model so it can hold a natural conversation. Trainees can ask it anything, as many times as they like, and get a clear, patient answer grounded in your actual procedures. There is no judgement and no ridicule, just a coach that is always available and never loses patience.

Hardware

The right hardware, honestly recommended

Good training deserves the right kit, and we are happy to source and set up everything you need. More importantly, we will give you straight advice on what actually suits your situation rather than simply selling you the most expensive option.

For the sharpest visuals and the smoothest, highest frame rates, we generally recommend a tethered set-up — a headset paired with a capable PC. It is the surest way to keep the experience crisp and comfortable, which matters more than people realise: a smooth frame rate is what keeps nausea at bay and lets trainees stay immersed for longer. Where you need to train larger numbers or move easily between sites, a standalone headset is a sensible, cost-effective choice, and both routes currently run beautifully on the Meta Quest 3.

Enterprise Programme

For larger organisations — typically those turning over £50 million or more — ready to make VR SOP training a core part of how they develop and protect their people. This is the full offering: a photoreal digital twin of your environment, multiple procedures and scenarios, the SOP-trained AI avatar, LMS integration and the data to prove it is working, rolled out across your sites. If you would rather see the value before committing to a full programme — or you are working to a tighter budget — a proof of concept is the sensible place to start.
